Internet Surfing through your Handphone

Celcom now promoting selling their 3G modem at RM499. have you ever wonder that you can just use your phone as 3G modem? I will show you step by step setting up your phone as 3G modem. Plus you can spend RM499 on anything else for example for fuel ...

I am using Celcom postpaid with unlimited data plan and Dopod 831Pro

1. Turn on your hand phone and your PC Bluetooth
2. Go to your Bluetooth setting ( START > Program > Bluetooth > Bluetooth setting)
3. click New Connection
4. Choose Custom Mode and Click Next and it will search for Bluetooth device
5. Please select your handphone (in this case Eda) and click Next
6. Choose dial up networking and click Next
7. Click Advance Modem Setting…Key in in Extra initialization command : “+cgdcont=1,"ip","celcom3g"
8. Click OK and Next
9. Put in dial up connection name as your HP name (eda) and telephone number *99#
10. Click Finish
11. Your dial up connection will appear in Bluetooth Settings
12. Double click Eda (my new added connection)
    
13. Click connect
14. Click Dial
15. When it says connected your ready to surf…
